Hagir Sail

Hagir Sail is a professional in the field of anti-racism and diversity, equity, and inclusion, with over 10 years of experience working in community development, police work, and social justice activism. In her current role as a Community Facilitation and Engagement Specialist at Vibrant Communities Calgary, Hagir is passionate about creating opportunities for growth in the community, particularly for those who have experienced poverty.

She is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to work together towards a better future. As an advocate for the well-being of marginalized individuals and communities, she is a member of the Community Guidance Group of this project and is eager to contribute to the development of domestic violence prevention and intervention strategies within Black communities.
