Future Black Female

Future Black Female is an organization that was founded by Dr. Tapo Chimbganda in 2019 with the ongoing vision and goal of empowering young Black girls and women (ages 16-22) through community support and culturally relevant and responsive resources. This organization provides services for women in Black communities, including pro-Black mental health services for females experiencing various forms of violence, as well as direct support programs. These counselling services (offered as either individual or group therapy sessions) use an intersectional, culturally responsive lens and offer prevention/treatment strategies for Black females.
