Imani’s Place

Established in 2019 by Lisa Ogbole, Imani’s Foundation provides transitional housing services for Black women experiencing/at-risk of domestic violence and human trafficking, healing trauma workshops, one-on-one counselling services and behavioural and mental health difficulties. While providing either short- or long-term shelter for Black girls and women (over age 16), case managers at Imani’s Foundation work alongside clients and establish goals of financial and housing security, as well as personal safety and self-sufficiency.
