Ruth’s House

Established by Dee Adekugbe, Ruth's House is community-based organization that provides emergency housing/shelter services as well as peer-to-peer support groups for Black individuals experiencing domestic violence. Ruth’s House has programs specific to women (e.g., Sisterhood Support System), men (e.g., Brotherhood Connect), mothers (e.g., Mom-2-Mom: Motherhood Community), youth (e.g., Youth Against Abuse), and couples (e.g., The Marriage Course), all of which provide supportive services and educational resources for victims, witnesses, and/or perpetrators of domestic violence within Black communities.
